48th Annual Scholarship Awards Program$278,000 Awarded

The Phi Beta Kappa Alumni Association of Greater Houston held its 48th Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner on Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Royal Sonesta Houston GalleriaWe awarded college scholarships to more than 65 outstanding graduating high school seniors.

Since 1972, the Association has awarded merit-based scholarships to students graduating from the full range of Houston-area secondary schools representing the vital diversity of our great city.  Our program is nationally renowned because it makes a difference. The love of learning symbolized by Phi Beta Kappa has the potential to transform our society, and yet the challenge of affording a quality college education can be prohibitive–especially for gifted students of modest means. The opportunity to connect to these academically talented students and make a difference in their young lives is of utmost importance. Fostering a love of learning can make all the difference, for both the student and our society.
